I’ve just updated Athena to be compatible with Firefox 7-10. Mainly so that you don’t have to re-install every time a new update comes out. The download link is the same. Those of you who are on 0.1.7 already will need to reapply Athena.

I’ve just released Athena 0.1.7 with a couple of fixes and features.

  • Added a new toolbar button for easy access to Athena to replace the status bar icon. You must manually place the icon on your toolbar.
  • Fixed a bug where speeches wouldn’t load properly in some instances (No speeches loaded)
  • Import/Export removed until I can totally rework the backup system.

Please report any issues.

I just modified the Athena file to support Firefox 4.0. It looks like everything works except for the status bar icon since there is no status bar any longer. Hopefully, I’ll get some time soon to dive deeper into things and get Athena where it should be.

It’s been a while since I’ve updated you guys on things so I figured I’d start update everyone on what’s going on with Athena and Malware Search.

I originally developed these plugins for Firefox because that was my browser of choice at the time. Times change and new programs are developed. I’ve almost exclusively started using Google’s Chrome.

Without getting into the details of why I like Chrome over Firefox, I just wanted to let everyone know that I will no longer be developing any new features in Athena and Malware Search for Firefox.

All future development efforts will be in Chrome.
