Cause “URL” Had To Die

I just wanted to let everyone know that I now have forums setup. The purpose of the forums are for feature requests and support only.

For an account you can either register with my blog or the forums, the username and password will be the same for both. If you’ve already registered with my website, then you already have an account.

I didn’t realize until yesterday that the registration to this site wasn’t working properly. This is now fixed, so if you have created an account in the past, just register again. The old accounts have been deleted. Note this will not affect comments.

I threw together Malware Search in one night while working on some practice HijackThis Logs on Geeks-To-Go. I found that having the Castle Cops database readily available, it made the process of researching the logs much easier. I then posted it on Geeks-To-Go, just to see if anyone else would find it useful. Never did I believe that I would have 300 downloads of it. I know this plugin isn’t much, but its my first Firefox plugin and first publicly available software program.

I’m glad that everyone is finding Malware Search useful and I hope that it will continue to help in the fight against malware, even if it only helps a little.

There was a slight issue with my server this evening around 7:35EST. My hosting company decided they needed to reboot… Sorry if there was any outage.
