I'm back again lamenting over the possible loss of Athena. I retained an early version of Firefox, 3.5.15 to keep Athena. I by passed the security updates, but finally went for FF 3.6.23. The update is a disaster just like a previous update as far a my display properties-as previously mentioned had a bad update v3.6.18.

I would like to update Firefox to one of the most current versions in the Rapid Release group like v5,6, or 7. But I can't find any info about Athenq except it is through v3.6. I note that someone put it on v4, but all of the links are 404.

Can you please help me out here? I have almost 300 speeches saved on Athena that I don't want to lose. I did export which I assume if the sql db., but I don't like using an insecure browser.

Thank you.

Bobbye, Athena 0.1.5 should be usable with Firefox 3.0-3.6. What I'd suggest is to make a copy of your athena.sqlite database which can be found in your Mozilla Firefox profile directory, and then update Firefox to the latest 3.6 version. Then, just download Athena from here: http://www.urlhadtodie.com/downloads/athena-0.1.5-fx.xpi

Install it via Firefox->File->Open File -> athena-0.1.5-fx.xpi. It should automatically pick up your old database but if not, just copy that athena.sqlite back into the root of your Firefox profile. I hope that helps you. If not, let me know.

I'm very grateful for the work you did with Athena. I help remove malware every day and without having my speeches in Athena, so readily available, I'd probably stop what I'm doing. I kept Firefox up to v3.0.19, making several attempts to update, but getting the message Athena wouldn't work. In fact, twice Athena was dropped during the updates and thanks to system restore, I got it back. I'm now using Firefox v3.5.15, which was as high as I could go and keep Athena. I tried the alternate download URL above but got a 404 error for it

I really don't want to start with Chrome- I've enjoyed Firefox since it first went public. But I would like to ask if you know of any other speech management that I could move the Athena speeches over to with the convenience of having them available like Athena. I'm going to update the Malware Search addons which has been another blessing. Thank you for all you've made available.
